RED LAKE This Man Hit Rock Bottom And Made History

French cave diver Frederic Swierczynski has become the first person in the world to dive to the bottom of Red Lake in Imotski on Saturday, Croatia Week reports.

Swierczynski touched the bottom on the Red Lake at a depth of 245 metres in a dive that took around 4 hours to complete.

Situated in the Dalmatian Hinterland on the northern side of Biokovo, Red Lake is a sinkhole containing a karst lake and is known for its numerous caves and remarkably high cliffs, reaching over 241 metres above normal water level and continuing below the water level. Red Lake is the third largest sinkhole in the world.
