MAYOR IN KOTOR Franković and Jokić Join Forces to Protect Two UNESCO World Heritage Sites

Dubrovnik Mayor Mato Franković conducted an official visit to Kotor, Montenegro. 

Delegation of the city of Dubrovnik met with the President of the Municipality Vladimir Jokic on Wednesday to discuss stronger future cooperation on protection of two UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Franković informed Dubrovnik and Kotor face similar problems when it comes to cruising tourism and protection of historical core as well as the quality of life of its citizens.

Franković and Jokić agreed to enhance collaboration in tourism and culture issues.

Also, they visited an association of Croats in Kotor to whom Franković promised stronger support.  

'We have the right, but also the obligation to help the cultural and social development of the Croatian people as the native inhabitants of this area," Vladimir Jokić added.
