Artificial visitor counter issued red warning as 9.255 people is currently located within the historic core of Dubrovnik.

UNESCO advised to keep the number of visitor in Dubrovnik's Old Town below 8 thousand in one moment so the City Council installed monitors to count the number of people.

Today, counters showed there are 9.255 people within the historic core. Also, there are traffic jams from the Old Town to Dubac.

There are two cruise ships in town with total capacity of 1.900 people so the cruise ship passengers are not to blame for the issued 'red alert'.
