The statue of Roger Joseph Boscovich, one of the greatest Croatian scientists, originally from Dubrovnik, was revealed in Indro Montanelli Park in Milan.

Boscovich died in Milan on 13 February 1787 and as a sign of appreciation from both Croatian and Italian side, the statue of the great sculptor Ivan Mestrovic was installed in Milan’s park.

In Dubrovnik, the sculpture of Boscovich can be found at ‘Boskoviceva poljana’, the square in the very heart of the Old Town, next to the Cathedral.
