STORM HITS ADRIATIC Strong South Wind and Heavy Rain Are Expected Whole Week

Meteorological and Hydrological Service issued a warning about weather conditions in the coastal area. 

South of Croatia will face strong south wind and heavy rain, Meteorological and Hydrological Service announces.

'A low centred over the Gulf of Genoa is shifting with its frontal system toward the Adriatic. Mainly SE and E winds 15-25, in places up to 32 knots. West of Istria SW and NW winds 6-16, giving way in the extreme north, during the day in the rest of the North Adriatic, and in the evening in a part of the Central Adriatic, to NE 14-28, in the Velebit Channel up to 34 knots. Sea 3-4, locally in the open up to 5. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably and mainly cloudy with rain, showers and thunder in places. Sea slight and moderate, locally in the open up to rough. Variably and mainly cloudy with rain, showers and thunder in places.'

Daily temperature in Dubrovnik will be from 15 to 18 degrees Celsius.
