Ministry of the sea, transport and infrastructure receives approval by Independent Quality Review for the 'Road connections with Southern Dalmatia' project necessary for EU financing.

The Peljesac Bridge is planned to connect Peljesac peninsula and Dubrovnik with Croatian mainland territorially interrupted by Bosnia and Herzegovina's port Neum.

The bridge has been the main infrastructural project for the past 10 years. Finally, the project 'Road connections with Southern Dalmatia' has been submitted to European Commission for funds. A 20 mile bridge should receive 420.3 million Euros (85% of total cost).
